We are seeking a skilled General Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and facilities. Your duties will include utilizing proper tools and equipment, following standard operating procedures, lifting up to 50 pounds, and communicating effectively with team members and other departments.
Job Responsibilities:
·Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities
·Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
·Repair and replace broken equipment and parts
·Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards
·Utilize proper tools and equipment for each task
·Follow standard operating procedures for each maintenance task
·Lift up to 50 pounds as required
·Communicate effectively with team members and other departments
Qualifications:
·High school diploma or equivalent
·Minimum of 2 years of experience in general maintenance
·Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
·Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
·Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
·Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
